Aviation Electrician Lead – H-60 Helicopter

About the role

A skilled aviation electrician lead is needed in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, to perform planned maintenance interval inspections (PMI) and organizational, intermediate and depot-level maintenance on H-60 helicopters. The work covers troubleshooting, testing, inspections and repairs of engines, flight controls, and fabrication of electrical systems and components, with extensive knowledge of wire and connector repair.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair major assemblies, subassemblies and wire and connector replacements on the H-60 and related systems
• Inspect, troubleshoot, detect faults, isolate them and take corrective action on electrical and utility systems
• Operate and maintain ground support equipment and maintain the tools used for power plant maintenance
• Handle all maintenance documentation, forms, records and reports, including the NAMP
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and other personnel and keep training records
• Follow safety, quality and procedure compliance requirements

Required profile

• 8 years of current or previous experience performing complex helicopter electrical work
• Ability to correct discrepancies by removing, repairing or replacing defective circuits, wires, connectors, control units, plugs, switches, circuit breakers, diodes, resistors, capacitors and relays
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams and technical directives
• Must pass a background check and drug test; may need a secret clearance
• Physical demands: walking and standing on level and inclined surfaces, climbing stairs, ramps, ladders and work stands, lifting 50 pounds, distinguishing colors and judging depth

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, circuit configuration and aircraft electrical systems
• Working knowledge of electronic principles and tracing signal paths through printed circuits and aircraft wiring
• Final functional checks of continuity, resistance, amperage and insulation breakdown with standard and specialized tools
