Avionics Technician (MH-60R) – Jubail

About the role

The position is for an experienced MH-60/H-60 Avionics Technician to perform planned maintenance, inspections and repairs on MH-60R helicopters stationed in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting of complex avionics systems with training Saudi technicians on‑the‑job.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) inspections, organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance on MH-60R aircraft.
• Repair, replace and test major avionics assemblies, sub‑assemblies, wiring and connectors.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in radios, radar, navigation, electronic counter‑measure and weapons computer systems.
• Operate and maintain ground support equipment and precision test instruments.
• Prepare and update maintenance documentation, forms, records and reports in accordance with NAMP guidelines.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to Saudi technicians and maintain training records.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience with complex helicopter electrical and avionics work, preferably on H‑60 platforms.
• Strong knowledge of electronic theory, flight‑characteristic effects on systems, and digital/analog computation.
• Ability to solve in‑flight problems that cannot be reproduced on the ground.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, wiring schematics and technical directives.

Required skills

• MH‑60R avionics maintenance and wire/connector repair.
• Radar, navigation, communication and electronic counter‑measure system troubleshooting.
• Operation of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltmeters and frequency meters.
• Interpretation of schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Use of hand tools and precision instruments for solid‑state circuit work.
