B2 Technical Instructor – Helicopter Maintenance

About the role

Airbus Helicopters Arabia is seeking a B2 Technical Instructor to lead training for H145 helicopter maintenance technicians. The role involves delivering both foundational and advanced technical courses, ensuring trainees acquire the skills required for safe and efficient aircraft upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and continuously improve on‑the‑job (OJT) training curricula for new and experienced H145 maintenance technicians.
• Create and maintain teaching aids such as charts, handouts, slides, and other instructional materials.
• Supervise trainees during practical evaluations and maintain accurate training records in compliance with PSS/GSAC policies.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to align training content with current maintenance procedures and regulatory standards.
• Participate in technical writing tasks to produce clear documentation and manuals.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in avionics or equivalent aviation training (at least 2 years).
• At least 5 years of proven experience in H145 helicopter maintenance (military or civilian).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a technical instructor.
• Valid EASA Part 66 or FAA license (preferred) and an H145 type rating from an approved OEM organization.
• Demonstrated ability to develop OJT curricula and training aids.
• Instructor qualification or certification from a recognized organization.
• English proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent).
