Back End Developer – Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Back End Developer to join our engineering team in Riyadh. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend services that power our SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases for reliability and performance.
• Create production‑grade REST APIs with versioning, validation, and security.
• Implement Redis‑based caching, rate limiting, and messaging solutions.
• Build secure authentication, authorization, and RBAC mechanisms.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, webhooks, and payment providers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable products.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in NestJS.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL (design, optimization, migrations).
• Solid experience with Redis.
• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and permission systems.
• Proven ability to integrate external APIs and payment services.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Git workflows and code reviews.
