Back End Production Team Leader

About the role

The Back End Production Team Leader will oversee the back‑end manufacturing operations at CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd., ensuring efficient production, high quality output and strict safety compliance. This role coordinates daily activities, drives process improvements and leads a team of operators to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule the back‑end production team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes meet quality control standards and product specifications for can production.
• Implement company safety policies, conduct regular safety audits and promptly address hazards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance or engineering as required.
• Train new employees on operational procedures, safety protocols and quality expectations.
• Track production metrics, analyse data and report team performance to management.
• Identify and support process‑efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of downtime, output and quality checks.
• Collaborate with front‑end production, maintenance and quality assurance departments.
• Promote a positive, teamwork‑focused work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3‑5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in can or packaging production.
• 1‑2 years of supervisory or team‑leader experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and safety regulations.
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics and production specifications.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
