Backend Engineer II

About the role

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to help scale the systems behind Tabby’s core products. You’ll work on high‑impact projects in a fast‑growing environment, alongside a world‑class remote engineering team spread across 20+ countries.

Key responsibilities

• Apply backend engineering expertise, preferably commercial experience in Golang.
• Design and build scalable, distributed systems capable of handling high load.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab and a microservices architecture.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and contribute to product development.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Take a proactive, independent approach to problem solving.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
