Barista – Guest-Focused Coffee Service

About the role

Rotana Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dynamic Barista to be the face of its coffee service. You will create memorable moments for guests by delivering warm hospitality and expertly crafted beverages in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, recommend menu items, and upsell when appropriate.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to established quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and speed of service.
• Monitor inventory of coffee, milk, and supplies; communicate replenishment needs.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and compliant with health‑safety regulations.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and service areas regularly.
• Handle cash, card payments, and POS transactions accurately; balance the register at shift end.
• Collaborate with team members during peak periods and support a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage.
• Previous experience as a Barista in a high‑volume restaurant or hotel.
• Good command of English; strong interpersonal and guest‑service skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and pay attention to detail.
