Bartender – Luxury Hotel & Resort

About the role

The Bartender will craft and serve cocktails, wines, beers and specialty beverages in a high‑volume, luxury hotel environment, delivering a refined and engaging guest experience. The role combines strong mixology expertise with attentive, personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks according to exact recipes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
• Develop signature cocktails and provide tailored beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Set up and close the bar efficiently, preparing garnishes, syrups and ice in advance.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies and support end‑of‑shift stock counts.
• Engage guests with product knowledge, upsell premium options and handle feedback professionally.
• Collaborate with barbacks, servers and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system and adhere to alcohol service regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a bartender in a high‑volume or luxury hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, wines, beers and spirits.
• Certification in food safety, hygiene and responsible alcohol service where required.

Required skills

• Mixology techniques and cocktail preparation.
• POS system operation and cash handling.
