Bartender (Saudi Only)

About the role

The St. Regis hotel in Riyadh is looking for a bartender who will prepare and serve drinks for guests according to standard recipes. The position is open only to Saudi nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders and coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, according to standard recipes.
• Operate, calibrate and clean commercial espresso machines, grinders and coffee brewing equipment, and recommend coffee beans, roasts and brewing techniques to guests.
• Issue, open and serve bottled beverages, and prepare fresh garnishes.
• Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies, wash soiled glassware and remove soiled items from the bar and tables.
• Set up and keep the bar, bar unit, tables and tools clean and tidy, and anticipate replenishment needs.
• Process payments, count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts and secure the bank.
• Secure coolers, cabinets and storage areas and complete closing duties.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their service needs and follow company safety, security and confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move through narrow or uneven spaces.
