Floral & Plant Specialist (Saudi Only)

About the role

The St. Regis hotel in Riyadh is looking for a Floral & Plant Specialist (Saudi Arabia only). The role covers two main areas: preparing and arranging flowers for the hotel's public spaces, restaurants, banquets and guest rooms, and supervising and maintaining the hotel's landscaped areas, gardens, lawns, plants, trees and irrigation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Receive flowers from suppliers, verify quantities, refuse unacceptable items, log receipts and deliver arrangements to customers or off-site locations.
• Design and create custom floral arrangements for public areas, restaurant outlets, banquets and guest rooms, and follow up on orders.
• Coordinate site set-up of floral displays and keep the florist shop clean and tidy.
• Supervise daily landscape and gardening maintenance, monitor plant health, irrigation, fertilization, pruning and lawn care.
• Inspect and maintain irrigation systems, coordinate repairs with Engineering and external contractors, and maintain inventory of plants, fertilizers, tools and irrigation materials.
• Prepare daily and weekly maintenance reports and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Follow guest relations, communication and safety procedures, and comply with physical demands such as lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for long periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Required related work experience and supervisory experience.
• No license or certification required.
