Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact and end-to-end owner of the KSA West Coast basin portfolio, covering profitability, contractual obligations, retention and service quality.
- Develop and run 3- to 5-year Strategic Account Plans covering retention, growth, competitive threats and joint value creation, aligned with Cluster/Group account frameworks.
- Build multi-level stakeholder matrices and lead Quarterly Business Reviews and steering committees with internal executive sponsorship.
- Lead contract lifecycle administration, including complex negotiations, amendments, renewals, extensions and commercial settlements.
- Monitor contractual obligations, formal notices, payment terms, indexation and volume commitments, and proactively mitigate contractual, competitive and operational risks.
- Own the basin commercial strategy, revenue, margin, pricing, volume performance and costs, prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts, and validate monthly billing inputs to ensure accurate invoicing.
- Manage accounts receivable, DSO and overdue aging, lead collection escalations and work with Credit Management on payment exposures.
- Support expansion projects, greenfield opportunities and decarbonization initiatives with business cases, and act as commercial lead during supply disruptions, turnarounds and operational events.
- Advocate customer requirements internally and ensure adherence to governance, anti-bribery, delegation of authority and EHS standards, keeping accurate CRM records and reporting to the Commercial Director.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related technical/commercial field; an MBA or Master's is desirable.
- Minimum 8-12 years of progressive experience in B2B commercial management, strategic account management and complex industrial sales.
- Proven background in industrial gases, petrochemicals, energy, refining or heavy industrial manufacturing.
- Demonstrated track record in long-term supply agreements, complex negotiations, profitability management, customer retention and cross-functional commercial leadership.
- Fluent Arabic and English required; French is desirable.
Required skills
- Advanced financial acumen: commercial P&L, margin analysis, revenue assurance, receivables, DSO, forecasting and pricing/indexation.
- Strong grasp of commercial law, contract drafting, contractual risk, claims and long-term supply agreements.
- Proficiency in CRM, ERP, reporting and analytics tools.
- Strategic negotiation, cross-functional leadership, customer-centricity, commercial discipline and resilience under pressure.
