Bid Engineer – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Bid Engineer will lead the preparation and submission of bids, quotations, and proposals in response to EOIs, PQQs, ITTs and RFPs. Working closely with sales, technical and support teams, the role ensures that all bid documents are accurate, compelling and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate bid submissions and hand‑over with pre‑sales, technical, support and sales teams.
• Develop bid plans aligned with company best practice and customer requirements.
• Review tender documents, extract requirements and gather necessary resources.
• Write, edit and author sections of proposals, RFIs and RFPs.
• Design the layout, organization and visual presentation of bid documents.
• Conduct editorial reviews, arrange bid review meetings and circulate action items.
• Challenge inputs from a customer perspective and help shape deal strategy.
• Perform project costing, obtain approvals and ensure accurate financial data.
• Manage the Etimad tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to post‑award coordination.
• Ensure timely, on‑budget submission and implement lessons‑learned for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar bid or proposal role within an IT / system integration company.
• Proven experience coordinating cross‑functional teams in an office environment.
• Experience reviewing, writing and producing large technical and commercial documents.
