Biomedical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer - Biomedical for a position based in Saudi Arabia, working on site within the KST department. The engineer maintains, troubleshoots and repairs biomedical equipment so that community facilities and systems operate reliably and meet safety standards. The role also monitors, audits and verifies the performance of service providers to ensure compliance with contractual, technical and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance across assigned facilities and assets, ensuring safe and efficient performance.
• Monitor daily maintenance activities of service providers against schedules, SOPs and KPIs, and review work orders, reports and field activities.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support across multiple asset categories.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety regulations and industry standards (JCI, CBAHI/SBAHI, SFDA).
• Audit, inspect and evaluate service providers and maintenance processes; lead root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain and update asset data in the CMMS (SAP/Maximo) and support asset lifecycle and reliability strategies.
• Oversee biomedical equipment maintenance, calibration, testing and performance verification.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Biomedical Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and operations.
• Proven experience coordinating contractors, conducting audits and inspections, and producing technical reports.
• Preferred: professional certifications (CMRP, BMET) and safety training (OSHA/EHS).

Required skills

• Preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• CMMS systems such as SAP or Maximo.
• Knowledge of standards such as JCI, CBAHI/SBAHI, SFDA, IEC 60601 and HTM.
• Biomedical equipment calibration, performance testing and lifecycle management.
