Building Maintenance Supervisor – Regional Projects

About the role

The Building Maintenance (BM) Supervisor will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of new projects and building maintenance activities across the assigned region. The role ensures SACO premises and stores are kept in optimal condition, providing a safe and pleasant environment for customers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project scopes and cost studies for new initiatives in the region.
• Supervise and coordinate construction work with consultants, contractors, and the Engineering Manager.
• Oversee regional building‑maintenance operations, scheduling preventive and corrective tasks.
• Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests, dispatching maintenance teams as needed.
• Arrange service and repairs with equipment manufacturers (e.g., elevators, escalators).
• Identify and recommend qualified contractors and suppliers for construction and maintenance work.
• Prepare CAPEX/OPEX requests, petty‑cash handling, and expense reports following company policies.
• Review engineering staff timesheets and generate weekly, monthly, and year‑end performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Projects Engineer or Building Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong supervisory, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent English with customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with drawing and planning software.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP‑CRM.
