Business Developer – Large Industries

About the role

The Large Industries Business Development (LIBD) team is looking for a Business Developer to drive growth of multi‑million‑dollar projects across oil refining, chemical, petrochemical and steel sectors. You will act as the bridge between strategy, finance, commercial offers and project execution, ensuring the delivery of winning solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with large corporations in the target industries.
• Identify customer needs, analyse projects, and map decision‑making structures.
• Develop and present commercial proposals, bids and framework agreements.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams (engineering, legal, finance) to define scope, cost and schedule.
• Prepare internal investment committee documents and ensure rigorous decision‑making processes.
• Perform financial modeling to support pricing and investment decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5–7 years of business development experience involving investment decisions.
• Strong strategic thinking, client relationship management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of refining, chemical, petrochemical processes or energy transition considerations is advantageous.
