Business Development Executive – Lighting Solutions

About the role

Ideolux, a designer and manufacturer of high‑quality LED lighting, is looking for a Business Development Executive to grow its presence across Riyadh and the wider Saudi market. The role focuses on building relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, developers and government entities to drive project‑based sales of lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the architecture, construction and engineering sectors.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers.
• Promote Ideolux’s product portfolio and lighting design services for commercial, infrastructure and hospitality projects.
• Deliver presentations, project briefings and technical discussions to clients.
• Monitor tender pipelines, pre‑qualification processes and upcoming projects in Riyadh and surrounding regions.
• Collaborate with internal design and technical teams to create custom proposals and quotations.
• Represent Ideolux at trade shows, exhibitions and networking events.
• Prepare monthly reports on leads, progress and business forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business or a related field.
• 4–6 years of business development or sales experience in lighting, construction or architectural industries within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of the Riyadh and Central KSA market, with an existing network of design consultants, MEP contractors or government contacts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently or with remote teams.
• Valid Saudi driving licence preferred.
