About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive portfolio growth, develop broker relationships and ensure high‑quality service across our insurance offerings.

Key responsibilities

  • Reach portfolio growth and quality targets.
  • Implement the broker strategy aligned with the marketing plan.
  • Develop existing brokers and acquire new ones as needed.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospect data collection to policy issuance.
  • Identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities.
  • Maintain group‑wide service quality standards.
  • Service brokers based on segmentation and collaborate with core functions.
  • Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor, report and suggest improvements for broker relationships.

Required profile

  • Deep market knowledge and expertise in broker networks.
  • Proven ability to generate and convert leads profitably.
  • Strong sales, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work with risk, claims and policy administration teams.
  • Leadership behaviours both internal (building relationships) and external (closing deals).
  • Comfort with multicultural environments.

Required skills

  • Understanding of trade credit insurance (advantageous).
  • Basic familiarity with AI‑powered tools and best‑practice awareness.
