Business Development Manager – Middle East, Central Asia & North Africa

About the role

GOTION HIGH-TECH is seeking experienced Business Development Managers to expand its energy storage portfolio across the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa and selected Eastern European markets. The role focuses on market development, key account management, commercial negotiations and the acquisition of large‑scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional market strategies to identify high‑potential customers and projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, developers, EPCs and strategic partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions and drive projects from initial contact to commercial closure.
• Achieve sales, revenue and margin targets for assigned territories and accounts.
• Monitor policy changes, competitive landscape and technology trends in energy storage.
• Coordinate with technical, project and delivery teams to meet customer requirements.
• Represent GOTION at industry exhibitions, conferences and workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in engineering or a technical field.
• 5+ years of sales, business development or commercial experience in renewable energy, energy storage or related sectors.
• Proven track record in regional market development and complex commercial negotiations.
• Strong ownership, ability to work independently and drive projects to closure.
• Fluent English; Arabic, Turkish, Russian or other regional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively or be based in the region.
