Business Development Officer

About the role

Risk Wise is looking for an experienced Business Development Officer to drive growth and expand the client portfolio in the engineering, construction, industrial and HSE sectors. You will act as the main point of contact for new opportunities and help position the company as a leading HSE consultancy and manpower provider.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across engineering, construction, industrial and HSE markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and government entities.
• Promote the company’s HSE consultancy and manpower services.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Participate in tendering activities and support bid submissions.
• Conduct market research to spot potential clients and upcoming projects.
• Negotiate contracts and follow up until project award.
• Achieve business development targets and contribute to overall growth.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
• Represent the company at meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in engineering, construction or HSE.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi market and business practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to build long‑term client relationships and a network with contractors, consultants or government entities.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Saudi driving licence preferred.
