Business Improvement Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Improvement Consultant to lead strategic transformation initiatives for a leading Saudi Arabian healthcare organisation. The role focuses on enhancing operational excellence, improving patient experience, and delivering measurable business outcomes across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement enterprise‑wide business improvement strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through data‑driven analysis and evidence‑based decision making.
• Lead complex process improvement and transformation initiatives across multiple departments.
• Facilitate workshops and mentor cross‑functional teams in process redesign and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Champion best practices in process management, quality improvement, and operational excellence.
• Lead organizational change management to ensure successful adoption of new processes and ways of working.
• Conduct benchmarking studies to compare performance against industry best practice.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, patient experience, and overall performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 16 years of experience in business improvement, continuous quality improvement, project management or operational excellence, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale transformation and delivering sustainable process improvements.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading multidisciplinary teams without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant healthcare or management discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPHQ, PMP, Lean Six Sigma or similar are advantageous.
