About the role

The Business Instructor delivers introductory business courses to university students, providing a solid foundation in core concepts, principles, and career pathways. The role combines subject expertise with engaging, real‑world teaching methods to prepare learners for contemporary business environments.

Key responsibilities

• Teach courses such as Introduction to Business Concepts, Principles of Management, and Business in a Global Context.
• Use case studies, industry examples, and problem‑based activities to contextualize learning.
• Guide students on business scope, current trends, and potential career routes.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
• Design lesson plans aligned with course objectives and institutional standards.
• Provide academic advising, office‑hour support, and pastoral care.
• Assess student performance through formative and summative methods and deliver constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure alignment with degree requirements and maintain accurate records of student progress.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management or a closely related field.
• Minimum two years of university‑level teaching experience or equivalent professional practice.
• Strong expertise in core business concepts and awareness of current industry developments.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Preferred experience in English‑medium or international programs and professional experience in business.
• Familiarity with case‑based, problem‑based, or project‑based learning pedagogies.
