Business Planning Engineer

About the role

The Business Planning Engineer will support Tasnee’s petrochemical operations in Jubail by managing inventory, preparing forecasts, and coordinating with suppliers, customers, and regulators. The role involves developing economic models, preparing management presentations, and ensuring accurate data across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production, consumption, sales, and performance forecasts in coordination with raw‑material suppliers and olefin buyers.
• Maintain and update departmental databases and master sheets, communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Review and calculate monthly pipeline sales prices and prepare supply agreements for utilities, raw materials and pipeline sales.
• Develop and monitor economic models and olefin inventory to support profitability decisions.
• Support plant tolling forecasts and coordinate with all parties involved.
• Create high‑level management presentations, charts and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and emergency task coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the petrochemical industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Database management and data analysis.
• Financial analysis and economic modeling.
