Business Unit Manager – Instruments (MENA)

About the role

Stryker is seeking a strategic, people‑focused Business Unit Manager to lead the Instruments business across the MENA region. Reporting to the Senior Business Unit Director, EEMEA, you will own full P&L responsibility and drive sustainable revenue and market‑share growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the MENA Instruments portfolio.
• Own financial performance, including sales revenue, profitability and operating income targets.
• Build, lead and develop high‑performing commercial teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Partner with marketing, operations and regional leadership to align on strategic objectives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct and indirect sales channels.
• Strengthen relationships with healthcare stakeholders, distributors and opinion leaders.
• Contribute to long‑term strategic planning, market expansion and organizational development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of commercial experience, with 3‑5 years in leadership roles at a multinational medical‑device company.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and meeting financial targets in the MENA region.
• Experience building and scaling teams, including establishing organizations from the ground up.
• Strong strategic mindset with ability to plan 2‑3 year business objectives.
• Demonstrated success managing multicultural teams across diverse markets.
