Buyer – Used Cars

About the role

The Buyer – Used Cars (CPOV) is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and purchasing used vehicles to support the Certified Pre‑Owned Vehicle program. You will ensure a high‑quality inventory pipeline, optimize purchase pricing, and work closely with sales and refurbishment teams to maximize margins and turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate used‑vehicle opportunities to maintain a strong inventory pipeline.
• Conduct accurate vehicle appraisals, including condition, history, and refurbishment needs.
• Negotiate purchase prices to optimize margins while keeping inventory competitive.
• Implement pricing strategies aligned with market trends and business targets.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock aging, and turnover performance; adjust sourcing strategy as needed.
• Coordinate with refurbishment and inspection teams to meet CPOV standards and readiness timelines.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, dealers, and partners; monitor performance of sourcing channels.
• Analyze market data, competitor pricing, and trends to support buying decisions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing performance, inventory health, and margin optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive buying, purchasing, or used‑vehicle management.
• Strong vehicle appraisal and valuation skills.
• Proven negotiation and supplier‑management experience.
• Strong analytical and market‑awareness capability.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic preferred.
