Camp Boss

About the role

As a Camp Boss you will lead the daily operations of the camp and site offices, ensuring a safe, comfortable and efficient environment for all personnel working on Saipem projects. You will coordinate accommodation, utilities, catering, housekeeping and logistics while maintaining compliance with safety, quality and contractual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring safety standards are respected.
• Support emergency management, organizing transport and medical intervention when needed.
• Maintain discipline in the camp and conduct toolbox talks on performance and safety.
• Oversee installation, operation and maintenance of camp accommodation and site offices.
• Manage purchase, distribution and upkeep of soft furniture, site services and perishable goods.
• Supervise housekeeping, cleaning, laundry services and waste disposal.
• Monitor stock levels of fuels and consumables, ensuring timely re‑ordering.
• Ensure reliable electricity, water supply and proper waste management.
• Manage catering contracts, supervise canteen operations and coordinate with the catering manager.
• Coordinate room allocation, employee arrivals/departures and daily movement to/from sites.

Required profile

• College or Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5+ years experience as a Camp Boss or Supervisor in a construction or energy project.
• Fluent English and basic Arabic communication skills.
