About the role
The Capacity & Capability Project Leader drives projects that increase repair capability, capacity and SQDC performance to meet growing business demands. This role combines strategic capital planning, cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement to achieve long‑term operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Lead repair capacity analysis and project planning, aligning capex, SQDC Kaizen and read‑across initiatives with business objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, milestones and budgets, coordinating Shop operations, AMRT and Sourcing.
- Own capex project execution, ensuring on‑time delivery, budget adherence and regular progress updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with global sourcing and capex teams for equipment specification, selection, purchase order placement and delivery.
- Support repair facility expansion, site preparation and equipment installation, start‑up and qualification to GEV standards.
- Establish TPM standards, maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with safety, policy and regulatory requirements.
- Lead MOC processes, support component repair qualifications and drive Kaizen/AWO events.
- Provide regular status, budget, schedule and risk reports to senior management.
- Lead gas‑turbine process qualifications such as coating, heat treatment and welding.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a relevant diploma.
- Minimum 5 years experience in gas‑turbine repair and services.
- At least 5 years in repair operations, capacity planning and CAPEX management within a manufacturing or service environment.
- Strong analytical, project management and financial acumen.
