Cardiovascular Technologist – Non‑Invasive

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist specialized in non‑invasive cardiac diagnostics to work independently across multiple clinical areas, including the laboratory, wards, operating rooms, cardiac cath lab and emergency department. The technologist will ensure a safe environment, acquire high‑quality diagnostic data and support physicians in patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform non‑invasive cardiac investigations such as ECG, Holter monitoring, stress testing, pacemaker and ICD analysis, blood pressure monitoring, and various echocardiography procedures including TEE and stress echocardiography.
• Provide urgent bedside procedures for critically ill patients in wards, OR, cath lab, ICU or emergency settings.
• Assist physicians during procedures and monitor patients for signs of distress, taking remedial action as needed.
• Generate preliminary diagnostic reports and document all patient events and procedures.
• Maintain equipment safety, calibrate devices, report hazards, and ensure proper cleaning and disinfection.
• Keep procedure rooms stocked, clean, and organized.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and emergency resuscitation efforts.
• Adhere to sterile technique, infection‑control policies, radiation safety (ALARA), and accreditation standards (CBAHI, JCI, SFDA).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree/Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology, Cardiac Ultrasound or a related healthcare field.
• Two years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or four years with an Associate degree.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring patient safety and high‑quality data acquisition.
• Familiarity with hospital policies, infection‑control procedures, and radiation safety regulations.
