Carpenter – Luxury Hotel Maintenance

About the role

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its Engineering team. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and constructing wooden elements throughout the hotel, ensuring that every guest‑facing and back‑of‑house area reflects the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry repairs, maintenance, and installations in guest rooms, villas, public areas, restaurants, offices, and service zones.
• Repair, assemble, and install furniture, cabinetry, doors, windows, locks, and decorative wooden structures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and address issues before they affect operations.
• Fabricate and modify wooden fixtures and furnishings to meet operational and guest needs.
• Perform finishing work such as sanding, staining, varnishing, polishing, and laminating.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and equipment in safe, good‑working condition.
• Monitor material stock levels and request replenishment as required.
• Support renovation projects, room refurbishments, and hotel improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Carpenter in a luxury hotel, resort, commercial, or hospitality environment (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, woodworking tools, furniture repair, and joinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
