Category Manager – Amazon Now (Q‑Commerce)

About the role

As a Category Manager for Amazon Now, you will lead the non‑fresh portfolio of Amazon's fast‑delivery Q‑Commerce service. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the right selection, pricing, promotions and activities are in place, driving growth, basket penetration and margin targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Category Leader in launching strategic initiatives and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Retail PF and Category Leaders to optimise the selection mix for both grocery and non‑grocery items.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve selection, profitability, pricing and availability metrics.
• Own the P&L post‑launch, meeting top‑line and bottom‑line goals and driving profitability projects with vendors, operations and advertising teams.
• Define and continuously refine the assortment to maximise space utilisation.
• Source deals for Tier 1 and Tier 2 events, delivering value to Prime customers.
• Ensure best‑in‑class content quality to boost conversion rates.
• Negotiate marketing funds with vendors for category visibility during regular periods and events.
• Integrate UFG requests into the annual Retail Joint Business Plan for shared vendors.
• Partner with the Ads team to secure a fair share of brand advertising investment.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience using Excel.
• 5+ years in retail, operations, product or program management, or business consulting with a focus on negotiations and results delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and P&L ownership.
