Category Manager – Beauty, Personal & Baby Care (Baby Care)

About the role

The Category Manager will lead the development and execution of business plans for the Beauty, Personal & Baby Care segment, focusing on the Baby Care sub‑category. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive growth, improve profitability and ensure optimal product assortment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category business plans using a customer‑centric approach.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, shelf presentation, buying and inventory decisions.
• Coordinate with internal functions and external suppliers to align on strategy and execution.
• Define category role, design planograms and monitor implementation in stores.
• Set pricing strategy, monitor profitability and manage margin responsibilities.
• Analyze post‑promo performance, adjust plans and fill market gaps.
• Lead a team, set objectives, conduct performance reviews and support professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in category management, sales or a similar role.
• Strong negotiation abilities and proven track record in managing categories.
• Solid understanding of category management, marketing and sales principles.
• Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and forecasting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
