Catering & Events Services Executive – Saudi National

About the role

Responsible for prospecting, soliciting and nurturing the social catering market for our traditional event spaces. Organize convention bookings and catering events from the date of departure while maintaining accurate activity records.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and nurture the social catering market for traditional event spaces.
• Conduct site inspections and organize convention bookings and catering events.
• Obtain and confirm all event‑related information, including meeting specifications, audio‑visual, rooming lists, technical and food & beverage requirements, and distribute details to operating partners.
• Optimize space utilization to enhance guest experience and departmental financial performance.
• Manage billing procedures, ensuring deposits and credit applications are received within acceptable timeframes.
• Conduct pre‑conference meetings with clients and internal departments to confirm event details.
• Ensure guest and group experience onsite through personal interaction and attendance at functions.
• Establish and maintain client rapport before, during, and after events to encourage repeat business.

Required profile

• Relevant catering and conference services experience within an upper‑upscale or luxury hotel or similar role.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly responsible, reliable, ethical with a reputation for honesty and integrity.
• Results‑oriented, highly motivated self‑starter.
• Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
• Willingness to work days, nights and weekends when necessary.
