Cathodic Protection Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cathodic Protection Technician to join our team in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. The role involves installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining and monitoring cathodic protection systems that safeguard pipelines, tanks and other metallic structures in industrial settings.

Key responsibilities

• Install, operate and maintain sacrificial anode and impressed current cathodic protection systems.
• Conduct CP surveys, inspections and performance evaluations using standard testing equipment.
• Monitor system parameters, record readings and produce accurate technical reports.
• Inspect rectifiers, anodes, test stations, bonds, cables and related CP components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing cathodic protection installations.
• Ensure compliance with NACE, ISO and client‑specific standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams for upgrades and corrective actions.
• Document all CP activities, inspection results and maintenance logs promptly.

Required profile

• Certified Cathodic Protection Technician Level 2 (CP2).
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience with cathodic protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of corrosion control methods and relevant standards.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, marine or pipeline environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts and CP specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, reporting and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
