About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary operations of our new Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, innovative dishes while maintaining the brand’s vibrant and iconic style.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high performance, adherence to standards, and a safe, clean environment.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, guaranteeing smooth service and excellent food quality.
- Design, plan, and update menus using seasonal ingredients, creating new recipes that reflect the restaurant’s concept.
- Hire, train, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff, conducting performance evaluations and fostering professional growth.
- Oversee inventory management, control food costs, and minimize waste while maintaining quality.
- Conduct regular quality checks on preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and implement food safety protocols.
