Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Leadership Role

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will build and lead a high‑performing finance function for a newly created joint venture. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO ensures robust financial governance, compliance with local and international standards, and transparent reporting that meets shareholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a finance strategy aligned with the company’s overall business plan and long‑term growth objectives.
• Design, implement and continuously improve accounting policies, financial controls and procedures in line with IFRS and best practices.
• Lead the integration of finance functions from two existing entities, harmonising systems, processes and controls.
• Oversee corporate finance, treasury, cash‑flow management, working‑capital optimisation and liquidity planning.
• Provide financial advisory to the CEO, Board and shareholders, delivering accurate reports, analysis and recommendations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring and variance analysis.
• Supervise capital‑project finance, investment evaluation, asset divestments and risk management across liquidity, credit, market and compliance domains.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in finance leadership, preferably within joint‑venture or multi‑entity environments.
• Proven track record of building scalable finance functions and driving financial discipline.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, local tax regulations (including Zakat) and international compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to advise C‑suite executives and boards on strategic financial matters.
