About the role
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will be a strategic leader on the executive team, shaping the human capital strategy for a multi‑billion‑dollar Giga‑Project. The role requires navigating complex organizational dynamics and building a high‑performance culture across a large, diverse workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic HR planning and execution to align with the project's growth and workforce demands.
- Design and implement HR frameworks, policies, and practices that attract, develop, and retain top‑tier talent.
- Drive organizational change initiatives across business units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with HR legislative frameworks and ethical standards for large‑scale projects.
- Leverage HR data analytics to inform workforce decisions and improve effectiveness.
- Mentor senior HR professionals and build high‑performing HR teams.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through targeted programs.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with executive leadership, project managers, and labor representatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 10 years at the executive level in large‑scale project or construction environments.
- Proven track record of developing innovative HR strategies that enhance engagement, culture, and organizational development.
- Expertise in labor relations, talent acquisition, retention, and employee development for project‑driven settings.
- Strong experience guiding organizational change and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR legislative frameworks, compliance mandates, and ethical standards.
- Exceptional consultative, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in using HR data analytics to drive decisions.
- Demonstrated capacity to mentor senior HR staff and foster high‑performing teams.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Able to navigate and influence complex stakeholder environments.
