Chief Operating Officer – Healthcare Group

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead operational excellence across the Healthcare Group, aligning clinical services with business strategy to deliver high‑quality patient care and sustainable growth. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will shape the organization’s operational roadmap, drive performance improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic operational plans that support the group’s mission, improve efficiency, and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Integrate clinical operations with business processes, overseeing daily activities across hospitals, outpatient facilities, and service lines.
• Monitor performance metrics, KPIs and data analytics to identify improvement opportunities and implement change‑management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Manage budgeting, cost‑containment, and resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams, building strong relationships with board members, physicians, staff, and community partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, including at least 7 years in a senior executive role.
• Proven track record of transforming complex healthcare systems and delivering robust financial results.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and accreditation processes.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost containment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
