Chief Strategy & Insight Officer

About the role

Join the executive leadership team of McDonald’s Saudi Arabia as the Chief Strategy & Insight Officer. You will own the commercial strategy agenda for one of the world’s most recognised brands, driving growth in a fast‑expanding market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer a 3‑to‑5‑year enterprise strategy, translating long‑term goals into annual priorities across Operations, Marketing, Finance and Development.
• Lead commercial insights on sales, traffic, margin, menu mix, pricing, promotions and customer behaviour, delivering decision‑ready recommendations to the CEO and senior leaders.
• Own pricing strategy and revenue‑growth management, including menu engineering, price‑elasticity analysis, pack architecture and promotional effectiveness.
• Benchmark store‑level performance, identify under‑performing locations and link operational metrics to commercial outcomes.
• Analyse customer behaviour across dine‑in, drive‑thru, delivery and digital channels to support loyalty, frequency and retention strategies.
• Drive expansion and investment analysis, preparing business cases, CapEx evaluation, cannibalisation studies and ROI assessments for major initiatives.
• Prepare concise executive dashboards and lead leadership reviews with the CEO, COO, CMO and CDO.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in a C‑suite or equivalent role.
• Background in quick‑service restaurants, FMCG, consulting or franchising.
• Proven ability to challenge senior stakeholders with confidence and commercial conviction.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with clear, concise communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
