City Lead – Riyadh

About the role

We are seeking a City Lead to drive the launch and growth of our operations in Riyadh. The role combines strategic leadership, operational management, team building and stakeholder engagement to establish a high‑performing, compliant, and profitable city operation.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of the company’s strategy for launching and growing operations in Riyadh, identify market opportunities, build strategic partnerships and drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Oversee day‑to‑day Riyadh operations including driver supply, service quality, customer support and local marketing, ensuring a seamless high‑quality customer experience.
• Implement and optimise scalable processes to support the growth of the Riyadh operation.
• Recruit, mentor and manage a high‑performing local team, set clear performance metrics and align the team with company goals.
• Develop and execute localized marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and user growth in Riyadh.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, transportation regulations and licensing requirements, and maintain relationships with government bodies.
• Manage the Riyadh city budget, provide regular performance and market reports, and analyse financial and operational data to optimise operations.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a management role such as City Lead, General Manager or Head of Operations, preferably in technology, mobility or on‑demand services.
• Demonstrated experience launching, managing or scaling operations in a new city or market, with budget responsibility and delivery against targets.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities, including recruitment and hiring support.
• Data‑driven business acumen with excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Arabic is an advantage and deep understanding of Riyadh’s cultural, regulatory and business landscape.
