Civil Engineer – Construction & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Career Overseas Consultants Limited seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to lead the design, planning, and supervision of civil and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves ensuring projects meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards while delivering on schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, specifications, and BOQs.
• Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Review and approve construction materials, methods, and workmanship to maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and site‑related issues.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in infrastructure, building, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes and regulations.
• Prior overseas work experience for foreign nationals.
• Strong command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
• Project management and site supervision capabilities.
• Ability to solve technical problems efficiently and make sound engineering decisions.
