Civil Inspector – Saudi National (Construction)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Saudi national Civil Inspector to support heavy civil and infrastructure projects. The role involves monitoring construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, and supporting project delivery on site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site construction activities and perform inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Coordinate with contractors on construction, installation, testing, documentation, and compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Review site operations to verify subcontractor adherence to approved designs, standards, specifications, and contract terms.
• Track subcontractor performance for operational, quality, and safety compliance.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve field construction issues to maintain schedule objectives.
• Verify field measurements and quantities for accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, daily/weekly subcontractor reports, and related documentation.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantity and monthly payment documentation.
• Participate in design review meetings and collaborate with civil engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (or 9 years relevant experience for non‑degree holders).
• Minimum 3 years of experience on heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Experience inspecting civil works, monitoring site progress, and reporting findings.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
