Clearance Officer – Supply Planning & Customs

About the role

The Clearance Officer ensures seamless product flow across markets by managing supply planning, replenishment, and customs coordination. This role balances service levels, inventory, cost efficiency, compliance, and product availability while linking demand, production, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑ and medium‑term supply plans based on demand forecasts and inventory policies.
• Convert demand plans into market supply requirements and balance constraints across multiple dairies.
• Identify supply risks, create mitigation plans, and monitor supplier and production performance.
• Plan replenishment orders and inter‑company stock transfers, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Manage import/export customs clearance, ensure compliant documentation, and resolve clearance delays.
• Coordinate with warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to ensure smooth port‑to‑warehouse flow.
• Monitor inbound shipments, milestones, and delivery performance, expediting critical shipments as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce customs lead times and enhance supply visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply planning, replenishment, or import/export operations.
• Experience managing international supply flows, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical or consumer goods.
