Commercial Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Mace is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on one of the largest mixed‑use development programmes in Saudi Arabia. You will be part of an integrated delivery team, ensuring financial integrity and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contracts, warranties, bonds, and licences, ensuring formal execution and compliance.
• Lead cost consultants and multidisciplinary teams to achieve KPIs and embed continuous improvement.
• Manage valuations, variations, cost control, and reporting, maintaining financial integrity.
• Oversee claims evaluation, contract completion, and certification processes to secure fair resolution.
• Deliver improvements in systems and processes, applying best practice and lessons learned.
• Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition initiatives and manage associated emissions reductions.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional membership (MRICS/RICS) with ongoing development.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven business development experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of contracts, value engineering, sustainability and stakeholder management.
• Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia and relevant experience on high‑value consultancy projects.
