Commercial Specialist – Cost Control & Contracts (Saudi National)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Commercial Specialist (Saudi National) to join its Tabuk office. The role focuses on cost control, budgeting, and contract administration for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring financial performance aligns with project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with all departments to capture costs and contracts accurately, providing full visibility for project cost control.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, change orders, and cost forecasting.
• Prepare financial and cost analyses, earned‑value reports, and cost performance dashboards.
• Set up baseline budgets using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in collaboration with the Project Manager and Scheduler.
• Track weekly and monthly cost performance, perform variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support monthly and quarterly reviews, explaining variances and justifications to the project team.
• Assist the Project Director in finalising business plans and customise project control systems as needed.
• Interact with clients, attend meetings, and deliver statistical reports when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial or contracts experience in construction or entertainment‑construction projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Saudi national status.
