About the role
The Community Liaison Officer will act as the primary bridge between Tako Gods and the surrounding mining communities. This role focuses on delivering Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that improve local infrastructure, promote safe mining practices, and build lasting trust.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and facilitate community meetings and feedback sessions.
- Plan, implement and monitor CSR projects such as borehole construction, school renovations and tree‑planting programmes.
- Promote zero‑mercury and safe mining practices among local miners.
- Mediate and resolve disputes between miners and the company.
- Collect and report impact metrics to senior management.
Required profile
- Degree in Community Development, Sociology, or a related field.
- Fluent in Twi with deep knowledge of Akyem cultural norms.
- Proven experience in CSR, community engagement or similar roles.
- Strong communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
