Construction Manager (OMPP / Pipelines)

About the role

The Construction Manager owns site execution for an OMPP/pipeline package from mobilisation to mechanical completion. The role directs the site team, subcontractors and construction equipment across civil, pipeline, mechanical and E&I disciplines, and serves as the single point of accountability to the Project Manager and the Saudi Aramco PMT for schedule, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Own the construction execution plan from mobilisation through mechanical completion and pre‑commissioning hand‑over.
• Direct daily site activities including right‑of‑way preparation, stringing, bending, welding, NDT, coating, back‑filling, hydro‑test and tie‑ins.
• Sequence well tie‑ins, flowlines, trunklines, manifolds, scraper traps and valve stations against the CRPO scope and Aramco shutdown windows.
• Plan and control manpower, equipment and subcontractor resources to meet the approved schedule.
• Act as the site interface with Saudi Aramco PMT, inspection and operations representatives, ensuring compliance with SAES, SAEP and Schedule Q quality requirements.
• Lead preparation and closure of construction inspection packages, RFIs, technical queries and NCRs, and drive mechanical completion, punch‑list closure and turnover to pre‑commissioning.
• Maintain site HSE standards, coordinate QA/QC documentation, control cost against budget and support change‑notice and claim substantiation.
• Lead and develop superintendents, engineers, supervisors and foremen, setting performance expectations and ensuring Saudisation commitments.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience as a Construction Manager on oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with cross‑country pipeline delivery.
• Demonstrated OMPP construction experience with Saudi Aramco.
• Middle‑East (Gulf) experience; Saudi nationality required for Saudisation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Civil/Electrical acceptable).
• PMP, CCM or CPM training and licensed engineer status preferred.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, strong leadership and communication skills.
