Construction Project Engineer

About the role

Earth Reservoir for Oil & Gas (EROG) is looking for a motivated Construction Project Engineer to support the development of a new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The role will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and delivery activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, technical sub‑mittals and contractor deliverables.
• Monitor construction progress, verify compliance with schedules and milestones.
• Participate in design, constructability and technical coordination meetings.
• Identify, track and resolve technical and construction‑related issues.
• Evaluate contractor RFIs, change orders and variation requests.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, safety and progress.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, meeting minutes and technical documentation.
• Support risk, schedule, budget and contractor performance management.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Construction, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial construction, manufacturing facilities, oil & gas or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, construction methods and contractor management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English.
