Consultant – Family Medicine & Geriatrics

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Consultant to provide comprehensive primary care through telemedicine, with a focus on older adults. The role involves virtual assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, ensuring continuity and high‑quality care for the geriatric population.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver virtual family medicine and geriatric consultations, including history taking, remote physical assessment, medication review, and geriatric assessment when needed.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based management plans covering medication optimization, preventive care, lifestyle interventions, and appropriate referrals.
• Manage complex cases involving multimorbidity, frailty, cognitive impairment, and polypharmacy while coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and community services.
• Utilize digital health technologies to conduct safe, high‑quality virtual visits and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and telemedicine regulations, and contribute to quality improvement, audits, and research activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification or equivalent in Family Medicine and/or Geriatrics.
• Proven experience in telemedicine and managing older adult patients with multiple comorbidities.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with evidence‑based practices.

• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and care coordination.
