Consultant – Internal Medicine & Adult Endocrinology

About the role

The Consultant provides comprehensive medical care to adult patients through telemedicine, focusing on internal medicine and adult endocrinology. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough telehealth consultations, including detailed histories, physical examinations, and interpretation of laboratory and imaging results (blood tests, ultrasound, MRI).
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans for chronic and acute endocrine conditions, prescribing medications and providing patient education.
• Participate in population health management initiatives, preventive care programs, and value‑based care strategies.
• Document all clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Engage in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality assurance activities, and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
• Proven experience delivering telemedicine services to adult patients.
• Commitment to ongoing CME, research participation, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Interpretation of endocrine laboratory results (blood tests, hormonal panels).
• Proficiency with imaging modalities such as ultrasound and MRI for endocrine assessment.
• Effective use of telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
