Consultant Neurologist

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to provide specialist neurological care and help develop high-quality clinical services. The ideal candidate holds a recognized Western specialist qualification and has substantial Consultant-level experience in Neurology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Consultant-level assessment, diagnosis and management of neurological conditions, including acute and chronic cases.
• Manage patients with complex neurological disorders and conduct comprehensive consultations with individualized treatment plans.
• Work with neurosurgery, rehabilitation, radiology, emergency medicine and other specialties, and give follow-up and continuity of care.
• Take part in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical case discussions, clinical audit, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Support clinical teaching and supervise junior physicians, and maintain accurate medical records.

Required profile

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MBChB or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurology and Consultant-level experience.
• Strong experience managing a broad range of adult neurological conditions.
• Recognized Western qualification in line with the employer's criteria, and eligibility for SCFHS professional classification at Consultant level in Neurology.
• Valid professional registration or licensing in the country of current practice, with full documentation available for SCFHS verification.
• Bilingual Arabic and English communication skills.
