Consultant Pulmonology (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Consultant Pulmonology will provide specialised, in‑person respiratory care on a part‑time basis at Bupa Arabia’s ICC clinic in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on diagnosing and managing acute and chronic lung disorders, ensuring continuity of care between scheduled clinic sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, sleep‑disordered breathing and chronic cough during part‑time clinic sessions.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests and bronchoscopy as required.
• Develop individualized, evidence‑based management plans, including medication optimisation and inhaler technique training.
• Coordinate care with the full‑time clinical and administrative teams to maintain seamless patient follow‑up.
• Document all clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
• Promote preventive respiratory health, including smoking cessation counselling and vaccination guidance.

Required profile

• At least three years (36 months) of clinical experience managing respiratory conditions.
• Willingness to work part‑time on‑site in a clinic setting.
• Ability to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary and full‑time teams.
